The right to make a complaint

If there is damage to the purchased goods, the buyer has the right to claim the goods. For a proper assessment, it is necessary that the claimed goods are clean, complete and in accordance with hygiene regulations or general hygiene principles. When using the goods, the buyer is obliged to observe, in addition to the generally known rules, the conditions set for the use and care of the goods in accordance with their natural lifespan.

Place and method of making a claim

Complaints can be made in writing, by e-mail or by post at Michaela Bednárová, Starý trh 43, 06001 Kežmarok.
Claimed goods can be delivered by Slovakian Post or via a carrier.
The complaint must include a written description of the damage that is the subject of the complaint and a proof of purchase of the goods or a postal receipt.

Responsibility of the seller

The seller is responsible for the fact that the sold item has the quality and utility properties generally required by the seller or the manufacturer, described or expected, that it meets the requirements, legal regulations in the specified quantity and corresponds to the purpose that the seller states when using the item or for which the item is usually uses.
The seller is responsible for defects that occur on the goods after taking over (purchasing) the goods during the warranty period.

The seller is not responsible for errors:

if the buyer caused the damage himself, if the buyer knew about the shortage of the goods before receiving the goods, for which a discount was provided from the price of the goods, which arose during the warranty period as a result of wear and tear of the goods due to improper or excessive use, if the goods were mechanically damaged or destroyed by unprofessional handling, if the color of the material does not exactly correspond to the color on the Internet according to which the product was purchased, if the accuracy of the pattern printed on the fabric does not correspond to the photo according to which the product was ordered, since every PUOJD brand product is an original
After the complaint has been received, the buyer will be issued with a complaint letter indicating the date the complaint was received, what goods are being complained about, when and where the goods were purchased, what deficiency occurred and the price for which the goods were purchased. The complaint letter is sent to the address of the buyer by e-mail. If the buyer complains about the lack of goods, the seller will properly check the claim and decide on its equipment immediately after receiving the claimed goods, in complex cases within 3 working days. The seller handles the claim within a maximum of 30 days from the date of application of the claim.

Terms for making a complaint

The seller is responsible for the defects of the goods for a period of 24 months after the buyer takes over the item, if a longer warranty period is not indicated on the goods, their packaging or in the warranty certificate. If the complaint is completed with a repair, the warranty period is extended by the period from the application of the complaint to the day on which the consumer is obliged to take over the goods after the repair is completed, even if he has not done so. If the complaint is settled by exchanging the goods for new goods, the new warranty period starts from the day when the goods were handed over, or sent to the buyer. If the claim for defective goods is not made within the warranty period, the right to liability for defects expires. The buyer will be informed in person, by phone or e-mail after processing the complaint.

Consumer rights

In the case of product defects that the consumer claims during the warranty period, he has the right to have the defect removed free of charge, properly and on time in the case of removable defects. In the case of defects that cannot be removed and that prevent the proper use of the item, the buyer has the right to exchange the item or withdraw from the purchase and demand a refund of the purchase price. If the defect can be removed, but due to the recurrence of the deficiency after repair, the consumer cannot use the item properly, he has the right to exchange the item or to return the purchase price of the goods. If there are irreparable defects that do not prevent the proper use of the item, the consumer has the right to a reasonable discount on the price of the goods.
